The new LMR46 series features flange versions of the well-known LA46 series and combines them with the compact and cost-effective LMR scanner. This new combination of TR Electronic technology covers a wide range of standard applications in industry.
During installation into a hydraulic cylinder, the jacket tubes are subjected to oil at high pressure. Stainless steel jacket tubes and pressure testing of the welds during assembly, ensure a long service life without leaks. Metric and UNF flange threads fit into commercial hydraulic cylinders with hollow-bored piston rods. Accounting for various thread lengths, and different radii of clearance for sealing rings, the linear sensors of the LMR46 series are directly compatible with many cylinders available on the market. The sensor head is accessible from outside the hydraulic cylinder and is connected using industry standard M12 connectors, which are able to withstand even the harshest environmental conditions. The position signal is transmitted either as an analog signal, as a synchronous serial signal (SSI), or as a CAN signal.
